Jim Gregory is the owner of Quiet Professional Communications, LLC, a crisis communications firm specializing in high-stakes, high-risk environments. With decades of experience in strategic communications, crisis management, and media relations, he helps organizations protect their reputations and navigate complex challenges with confidence.

Most recently, he served as Deputy Director of Public Affairs at U.S. Special Operations Command, leading global communications for the nation’s most elite military forces. Previously, he spearheaded crisis response and public engagement as TSA’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for Strategic Communications and Public Affairs, where he restructured and expanded operations to enhance effectiveness. He has also advised Fortune 500 executives and government agencies on crisis management, reputation protection, and strategic messaging.

Gregory’s expertise extends to the corporate and academic sectors, including serving as Director of Media Relations at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill during a high-profile NCAA investigation. He also consulted for Orbis Operations, LLC, advising an overseas client on crisis management and public messaging during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

A former U.S. Army Green Beret, Gregory spent 22 years in military service, first leading Special Forces teams and later serving as a press officer in the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. His experience includes global crisis response, reputation management, and high-pressure media engagement.

He holds a master’s degree in strategic public relations from the University of Southern California, equipping him with the expertise to develop and execute high-impact crisis communication strategies.
